Holy smokes, we're starting the second month of the year already.
Last year after Christmas when I put my village away, I only get one shelf unit in the living room. The other one I took upstairs and used to store all the village pieces on. This year I decided to leave both of them in the living room. One on each side of my fake fireplace.
Now they are home to pictures. One is just for Presley's pictures and the other is for Amanda's and Brads. I also added some Valentines decorations to each one. I didn't put out as many of the Valentines stuff this year.

They are all really cute. My favorite is the white frame with flowers on it.
Clapping Now! excellent idea to keep them both... Now do a post on where you stored the little town. also what else is upstairs?? good job. and in March you can change out to the shamrock stuff, and Easter and 4th of July...
Those are great additions!! Especially one dedicated just for Presley!!

Ann an excellent idea. Great decor for February and all the coming months. Will add fun to the room. I love a Presley shelf.

I love it. It really looks nice.
I had no idea what a Presley shelf was. They do look great and sing of family and Valentine's day. :)
I love the pink glittery frame with the two girls with bunny ears!
Treasures need to be displayed and there's nothing more worthy of display than family.
That's a great idea, and photos are always special.
So tastefully done. I really like all the wonderful things you have placed there. These are the things that make a House a Home.

Yes, it's moving too fast! The shelves look awesome. Heck, I never decorate anymore. Way to go!
February already.....lots of red white and pink in the stores right now. I really like your shelves and you have them decorated so cute.
Great idea to have the picture shelves. :)
I'm afraid I don't decorate, which is probably why I love to see what you have done.
I have never had a village but a beautiful woman I loved very much used to have an open house every yr. She would move the couch out to the garage and put in large pieces of plywood on those sawhorses. Then the decorations went in. 100's of pieces of a village, fake snow, ice skaters....etc....beautiful
Those look great! I don't decorate for Valentines day anymore! Too lazy I guess!
Decorations are fun. I haven't made the time to decorate the blog yet for Valentine's. Today it's been crocheting and cleaning.
