Last Wednesday I had to get out of the house. I didn't know where I was going to go but I got in the car and started driving. I ended up going to Erie and my first stop was Hobby Lobby
It's always nice to wander around and look at things in there. I was in the scrapbook paper aisle and there was an older gentleman looking at scrapbook paper. He had a dog in his cart that was wagging his tail at me as I walked past. I got to the end of the aisle and tried to get a picture of him
Unfortunately just as I was snapping the guy moved and I missed getting the dog. I did see these cute dogs in another part of the store though.
After I left there I went to Michaels and wandered around there for a bit. I saw this cute Easter bunny couple.
I didn't even bother to look at the price on them because I knew it would be way more than I would ever be willing to pay.
Next I walked around Walmart for a little while. When I came out of there it was snowing so I headed home. It was nice to get out. Being stuck at home all the time is driving me crazy.

Being retired, it's hard to find enough to keep you "engaged", so...getting out and about really helps. Glad you had a smoother day!

Those hobby specific shops tend to be quite expensive I find.
I'm glad you got out for a bit before the snow hit.
Sounds like a fun day of craft store shopping!!!!
I could walk around Michaels or Hobby Lobby for hours!
I enjoy walking around these stores...I make mental notes in my head of cute things that I would like, but rarely make the purchase. lol
Hobby Lobby can serve for mental and physical stimulation in the winter. They are huge here anyway and I guess yours is too
Love the photos. Hobby Lobby might need a creative gal like you working there.
Hugs Cecilia
I’m so glad you went!
Just getting out is great therapy. Dave and I often just go to our local bakery for a cuppa and a goodie, just to have a change of pace. Haven't been for a while because of all the sickness we have had. I think its about time to go again.
I do hope you can find another job just to give you another charge to your batteries.

I have to jump in the car and run off like that a lot of times. Just like needing a different site for the day. However, a stop at the dollar store and one at Hobby Lobby really was rough the other day. I got home and crashed.
Always fun to walk around the hobby shops.
Glad you got out and looked. Too expensive I know, but you might get free ideas. Hard to retire in mid winter!
A change of scenery is as good as a rest, and you saw some pretties too, and a little dog.
Those bunnies are so cute! I wish we had big craft stores like that in my area. I could spend hours in there lol
I wish you had got the snap of the dog. Those bunnies are cute. I have been wanting to go to.Hobby Lobby myself..but want nicer weather. It is not too far from me...maybe 5 miles
yay for a day out.. no snow IN hobby lobby, glad you got home ok.. hope you find a job soon
When we first moved to Florida, I tried to get out every day, even just to drive to the park. I found a thrift store that was super cheap (all clothes are a nickel!) but that got me into more trouble. But I still like to get up in the morning and get dressed right away. You'll find things you want to do as you go! Hugs!
