I know I've already showed you things growing in my yard but lets take a stroll again.
I have these Japanese Iris in two spots in my yard. They are under the tree in the back and then I also have some on the side of my deck. This one that bloomed is next to the deck. They are way ahead of the ones under the tree.
The hosta is doing well this year. This is the smallest of the three I have. There are two on the side of my house that are huge.
Last but not least is my forsythia. Remember I said that a friend cut them down to nothing? Well they are coming back in so nicely.
And here they are just 15 days later on the 25th

Beautiful photos, Ann.
Thank you! You have some beautiful plants.
You have a lot of lovely variety. Did you know that Peonies have a symbiotic relationship with ants? The buds can't open without the ants eating the cover off. But I think my favorite is your Japanese Iris. Did you get my e-mail?
Your flowers look gorgeous, Ann. I hope you can share a pic once the peonies bloom! Have a peaceful Sunday.
I can't believe all the beautiful flowers you have and here in Florida where I should have them year round, I have zero flowers in our yard. everything is green and today the buds will open on the mini powder puff that is in a pot. everything in the ground died. not one Hisbicus and there are not any at other homes either when we walk... love that purple.
Some shrubs respond really positively to being pruned hard. Your forsythia is looking good. The rest of your flowers are looking so promising.
I love seeing things that are growing in my yard....and in your yard too! Such a simple pleasure. These pictures brightened my day, my friend. Thank you. ~Andrea xoxo
Iris like acidic soil, the ph level of the soil can affect the color of blooms. Hydrangeas also like acidic soil - want blue hydrangeas? Up the ph level - you can do that with coffee grounds!
Ann what a lovely stroll and OMDs you are about to be 100% technicolor
Hugs cecilia
each of these plants are some of my favorites...especially hosta.
Lovely blooms throughout your yard.
The forsythia looked so bedraggled but wow 15 days later beautiful. I guess it just needed a good "hair cut".

Nice walk around your yard. Cutting back the forsythia worked out great.
You know what - I knew you were an artist - but I am just not realizing that you are a gardener too. Awesome. I didn't realize that.
Very pretty. I can't wait to see the peonies when they bloom. Our forsythia needs a major trim also. Yours looks great.
These are beautiful Ann!
Everything looks great. Those peonies will be so pretty when they open. The forsythia are coming back really nice.
