Filling an order

Wow, June 1st already. Welcome June.

I got a text message from my neighbor across the street asking if I could make her something. She wanted envelope pillow covers to use for backpacking. You put your clothes in them at night and then use it as a pillow. She had one that was her husbands when he was a kid that she gave me to work off of. She wanted two of them for her little boys that were going backpacking with their dad.  I was up for the challenge. These are basically the same thing as my reading pillows just a different size.

She said she didn't care what color or fabric they were. She just wanted them to look different. These were the ones that I made for her.

These measure about 10 x 17. The weekend they went backpacking was pretty cold. They're braver than I am.

You are branching out! The camping pillow covers are a good idea. Well, I guess technically they are clothes covers.

What a sweet and thoughtful project! I love how you took on the challenge and made something so practical and personal for your neighbor’s boys. Using clothes as pillows is such a smart backpacking hack, and your custom covers sound like the perfect touch.

they are perfect! what a super idea. Of course with it being boys, I am betting the smell isn't to great, ha ha ha ha ha. I am also taking bets that there is a fight over who gets the red white and blue.....

What a unique idea to but PURRSONALLY I'd travel with my pillow but no worries I don't need anything for my clothes 'cause I'm not going camping....
Very pretty though and your abilities are growing

Fantastic job on the covers. Love them both and they will be put to good use. Hard to think about being cold when I am sitting in 93F temperatures.
Taking the day off before we get back into prepping for our garage sale on June 14th. Time is going to fly by, and Mark and family come on the 12th. I am so excited to see them for an extended time.

I think, not sure, but I think I've seen these, or heard of them before. Such a neat idea. Love all the orders and crafting. Most excellent. PS: Still no email.
