Friday October 7th was a chilly start to the day. There was frost on my windshield when I went out to leave for work. I snapped a quick picture of the temp to show you how cold it really was.
Before I left I saw one of the workers out back taking a picture of the sky as he walked up to the job sight. I had to take a look myself. It was a pretty sky but mostly obscured by the house and trees from where I stood.
On my way to work the sky looked amazing. I tried to sneak a picture but it didn't even come close to what I actually saw.

I have had this happen so much! The camera lens cannot capture the color nearly bright enough or colorful enough. I don't know why it happens at times, and not at other times.
me to on having this happen. sometimes the lens catches the colors and sometimes not. Dan takes a lot of sky photos which is rare in men. yikes on frost and 37
very pretty.... I have done the same thing...I see something that is so full of color and I want to capture every bit of it, but the camera just doesn't capture what I see. Frost? I'm waiting patiently for one to come here.
The sky is often so pretty at this time of year. It sets the mood for the day.
I always love the pink and purple hues of the morning sky
Old man winter is sneaking up on us.
We had 44 this morning in Dixie

Sky pictures never do the sky justice!
If you go into the phone camera's setting and play in manual mode, that's where the control is. Some phones call it pro mode, but it's really manual settings. There white balance is controlled along with other phone camera settings. Though limited, it's still more control than pointing and shooting where the phone camera decides the choices. Also known as auto mode.
Nature sure can make some beautiful paintings in the sky
Brrrr! That cold air is heading our way. No greater beauty than that nature provides! ❤️

Trying to work out what 37 degrees is in centigrade. 32 is freezing right? So pretty cold, yes.
