Thursday morning around 8:00 I peaked out the back door at work and saw the promise of sunshine
It wasn't just a tease either. It really did come out. I went outside at lunch time and was welcomed by real honest to goodness sunshine. Even though it was cold out I could still feel a little bit of heat from that great big beautiful ball of sun. I looked up, closed my eyes for a couple of minutes and made believe it was summer. It's amazing what a little sunshine can do.
The sky was a gorgeous blue as I drove down the road after work. My daughter saw this picture on my phone and asked if I was taking pictures while I was driving down the road. I told her no I was stopped. She says "You stopped right in the middle of the road to take a picture?" UH YEAH! No one was behind me.

Sometimes we have to tell a little white lie. Just because.
A little sunshine does a heart good!
A big risk for a pretty picture! You are like me, anything for the blog! We had snow all day and school let out half a day.
Woof! Woof! It sure is ... the SUN is awesome. You gotta to check my blog post today ... Happy Weekend. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Ah, yes, the joy of a little sunshine :-) I too will stop if there are no cars... do you also wonder why you can travel the same stretch of road every day and have no one behind you until you see an awesome picture that you want to take???
Have a great weekend, not too much snow here yesterday
Hugs, antonella :-)
I really miss the sun. Glad you got some, Ann! Happy weekend!

That is a pretty photo!
We've got sunshine today...and a wee bit of snow. It's nice to have them both. It actually feels like winter now! (and I'm not complaining!)
I never realized how incredibly important light and sunshine are to me until I didn't have them for a long time....we just went through a week of drear and then the sun and then the drear - today the clouds are getting out of the way and what started out - eww - is becoming Yay!
The sun is shining most beautifully this morning and I'm happy about that. Today is our big seafood chowder feed and this way everyone doesn't get wet and there are also tons of outside games everyone can play. Perfect I tell you.
Have a terrific day and I hope you have sunshine all weekend. My best to Duke. :)
Gorgeous sunny pics in the snow!
I thought at first that the bus had got stuck up ahead!
Beautiful shots!
Caught red handed by your daughter huh? I am sure she believed you!
Oh my I am glad you got some sunshine and that you took these wonderful pictures.
However, they also remind me just exactly why we decided to move out of New England and head south.
Happy weekend Ann!
Holy moose-poops, Ann! At least I pull over!!!! I'm addicted to sunshine...:)JP
It's so refreshing to see the sun this time of year, even if it's just for a short bit of time.
Wow, you have a lot of snow there! The remnants of our ice storm melted off, thank goodness.
The snowy pictures are so pretty! We had sun too but is still bitter cold.
A picture definitely worth stopping for! I do the same thing. If I see something I want to photograph, I stop too. Good thing I live out in the country because I'm usually the only one on the road.
The photos really caught the feeling of cold and crisp. It looks beautiful through a photo :)
