Inspired by...

I was recently inspired by a post I saw on Jille's blog Love to Craft. She made the most adorable cards by ripping paper. I thought it was such a cool technique and so simple that I had to give it a try. But what to make?
My original plan was to also make a card but the first piece that I tore came out a little too big. Rather than start over just hunt for a bigger canvas to work on.
Enter composition notebook.

This notebook looks much nicer sitting on my desk now than it did before.

Here's a close up of the sheep. After I took the pictures I realized they had no ears so I did take care of that but didn't retake the picture.

If you want to see Jille's version of this technique and the project that inspired me to make this check out her post "Come see my brood"

All the things are torn...I guess you have to do it just right, so it looks good like this, but still looks torn.

Great job Ann! I used to look at this one girl's cards...she used to do the most amazing things with torn paper! She used to make perfectly shaped teddy bears out of torn paper!

Well, this sure makes me feel plumb awful. For our little Grayson loves to shred paper, and we assumed that he was just being destructive when he was really being creative!

I can't even tear paper artistically! I am missing the 'artistic' gene. This looks really nice - I have a book like that - well not like THAT - just an old composition book with a purple cover that says "Composition Book" and you can be pretty sure, your inspiration aside, it will stay like that....
