I hate to complain but the weekend certainly did not meet my expectations. Of course I didn't really have any expectations but that's besides the point.
I mentioned the other day that Friday morning our temperatures were 70 degrees. Saturday morning I looked out the window and it looked like a blizzard was approaching. The wind was blowing and it was snowing. It wasn't a lot of snow but again, that's besides the point.
Aside from going out shopping with my daughter on Saturday and grocery shopping on Sunday with Wade I did a LOT of napping.
I did manage to find a little energy to play in photoshop elements
I added textures to this that I got from Nancy at A Rural Journal. A very talented lady with a wonderful blog. (Thank you Steve for pointer her blog out to me)
It's a shame I have to head off to work today. I think that since the weekend was such a bust I should get a do over before I have to go back.

So sorry!!! I took a late nap, and have now woken up at midnight...
The weekends do seem to fly by too quickly! I think the work week should be two days and the weekend five days long!:) At least your weather is nice --we are getting snow again tomorrow!
Hope next weekend gives you lots of spring like weather!!
Everything is closed here on Sundays, so no shopping for us ;-)
Sweet birdie!
I keep telling myself to sit still and take the time to learn how to use textures...looks great, Ann!...:)JP
Lovely edit Ann -- so glad you are having fun with the textures. xo
If I every go to a reduced work week I want to take Mondays off. I just seem to get my energy by late Sunday night and then it's time to wake up and go to work! :(

We didn't have snow over the weekend but the temperature was pretty cold Sunday morning was in the low 40. Napping is good.
Fun shot, Nancy is real close to where I live, we need to get together for a photo shoot.
LOVE the texture!! Cool edit!!
I think I actually enjoyed my weekend this time...Hahaaa...although another one would mean more funness!
Oh well, looking forward to another one in... 4 more days!

I think you should definitely get a do over for the weekend. It isn't your fault the weather was questionable.
Some weekends are fabulous and others not so much. I'm sorry this one was a bust. Next weekend will be fabulous. You'll see.
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
According to at least one very credible study that I have been made aware of, bacon can cure a myriad of ills.
Isn't it a bummer that the weather can mess up a mighty good weekend? Wade went to the grocery store on Sunday? Hope he saw Kasey nearly win in my home state of KS!
I totally agree, that you should have a do over of a week end. At least nothing really bad happened. Naps are always nice. Have a good week.
My weekend was pretty bummer too! I vote we both get a do-over! Hope your week is going better.
I think that is what weekends are for--doing nothing and re-charging your batteries. Don't make excuses--relaxing and chilling is important and it's good to make time for that!
The teasing weather is getting to be annoying every where :)
