A star is born

I've seen a lot of stars made out of rulers and yard sticks and finally got around to making one of my own. I found the wood rulers at Wal-Mart for 47 cents each. They have a big hole on one end and I drilled holes on the other. After staining the rulers I tied them together with jute twine. They still slipped around a little but a bit of glue in one spot took care of that.

Nice to be back and catching up with everyone but I haven't commented on your other posts as I know you don't reply to them!!

  7. if you painted this red, white and blue, you could sell it to all the people who live in Texas. for some reason I thought Texas Star, maybe because 4 of my blogger friends live there and post stars a lot.. you are so creative. i had no idea there was anything in WM that was 47 cents.
