We got hit with more snow yesterday. I really have had enough. I had to shovel when I got home from work yesterday before I could pull the car in the driveway. I had almost the whole driveway shoveled, with just the last couple feet at the end where all the really heavy stuff from the snowplow is, when a friend of Wade's showed up to plow. Would have been nice if he would have gotten there 15 minutes sooner but at least he saved me from doing the worst of it.
The cross in my neighbors back yard is her clothesline pole.
Turned the picture to black and white and comparing the two, I see that the first one really didn't have much color in it to begin with.
I am so ready for some color.

I have some winter photos that look like black and white too!
I've been working with some really colourful fabrics lately to compensate :)
Dear Ann,
The pics are beautiful, but I hope you will get some colour soon. If that is your desire. Happy Thursday!
Blessings :-)
It's 37 degrees here as I type...cold, blustery wind....but none of that heavy white stuff you have!!
That clothesline pole makes for a great focal point!!
Next time, call you snow plow neighbor about the time you're heading home...he may have it all plowed out for you before you hit your driveway!!!
Ug! Me too!!!
you are right, i can hardly tell the difference in one and two shots... your world is in black and white now... you need to buy a red car, or a red coat.. or a red coat on Duke in the snow....hope the sun comes out and melts it all away today.... tv says 63 percentof USA is covered in snow today
I do believe you have more snow coming over the weekend - oddly enough the converted photo seems to be more detailed - editing? We live on the 'good' side of the crazy weather line so we didn't even get the predicted ice storm. But not out of the woods yet - they are saying that February is going to be a very active month weather-wise. Spring is going to be sooo welcome if it ever gets here!
There's a lot of 'black and white' going on these days. I'm ready for some outdoor color too!
It's raining here and we're thrilled. It's been so very dry.
I am ready for some color too. Winter is just so bland.
Have a fabulous day. My best to Duke. ♥♥♥
I for one am ready for the snow machine to be turned off. We got hit yesterday too. I will say that shoveling does make good exercise.
I stayed at my sons to watch Mia...ended up two nights rather than one! I am done with snow too!!!!...:)JP
I'm done too. We had another snow storm the other night and I just worked from home the next day. I'm just so DONE shoveling it, driving in it, walking it in, wearing it....whatever in it. I'm sick of IT.
Gosh, I am so sorry that you got blasted again!
i love how peaceful it all looks with all that snow.
It looks very quiet though, but I agree sometimes it can just be too much. Have a great weekend!
There really isn't very much colour in your neck of the woods at the minute is there. I really hope that you get some warmer weather soon!!
We got 6 inches with another dusting coming. The cold is bad here.
I've done that with several snow pictures, and it's almost the same in BW.
I enjoy black and white but am finding myself craving a pop of color....
It's officially white here too now after getting about 1.5 feet of snow! Very unusual for our neck of the woods and it reminds me why we moved from Colorado.
I suppose it is indeed true that some people are plumb religious about clean clothes.
