Stanley helped me do things right

We've been seeing more and more spring like weather and even signs that spring really is going to grace us with it's presence this year.
A couple weekends ago I got out in the yard to do a little cleaning up. I don't know why I don't rake up all those leaves in the fall.

Just this past weekend I found things growing. Here's the Hosta poking out of the ground.

And would you look at that. The trees are going to actually have leaves on them after all.

On a side note. It was one year ago today that I smoked my last cigarette. I made it a whole year smoke free. Now if I could only get Wade to join me.

It is nice to get out and work in the yard. It is a good feeling to see everything looking healthy and nice.
It still is cold here, rainy and windy. I even turned the heat on today!
Congratulations on such a good thing that you have done for yourself.
Blessings, Catherine

Congratulations!!! I know how hard that is. I have heard that tobacco is more addictive than almost anything. You are a really good example for Wade.

My mother-in-law loves to go out and trim along our fence-line. She is not concerned when her trimming leaves gaps at the bottom of the fence until one of our pups decides to check out the rest of the neighborhood, though.

Way to go on the not smoking. It's a good thing. Wade will do it when he's ready. It's usually how it works. Bugger.

Yes, it's yard time all over the place. Hubby is slowly working on getting things cleaned up around here. I'm not a yard person. At. All.

Have a fabulous hump (see it's Wednesday already) day. My best to Duke. ♥♥♥

SO SO SO proud of you for quitting smoking... Doesn't Wade realize how dangerous it is to his health??? Does he still smoke inside? Gosh--I hope not since the 2nd hand smoke can hurt you also.... CONGRATS... I'm so proud of you.

Glad you are getting some spring.
Hugs,
Betsy
