A while back while playing with my paints and other assorted materials I came up with this artsy background in the old art journal.
I used and assortment of brushes, sprayed on some red paint and dabbed on the circles with plastic caps and wooden spools. This is as far as this got and now it sits.

Colorful - you use neutrals/brown/greens a lot - nice to see something bright.
Very colorful and I'm sure you'll do more with it at some point. Butterflies, birds...something.

I think this is a wonderful back wash Ann...now all you have to do is decide who to write a letter to!
Now I'm curious as to what you'll put on top of those backgrounds! :)

I do remember reading in a book somewhere that hissy-fits can really get the creative juices flowing...sometimes not. (LOL?)
