I was driving home from work yesterday having a conversation in my head about what I needed to buy the next day. Because the weather is supposed to be very cold on Saturday I won't be wanting to go out shopping so I need to get it after work tomorrow. The problem with this was that the tomorrow I was thinking about in my head was Friday and the real tomorrow was Thursday. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I still had 2 more work days to go before Saturday and a day of hibernation. Bummer.
And here is the card for the day

Don't you hate it when that happens?! Hang in there and maybe still do your shopping after work tonight so you can come home Friday and just put your feet up! And I am sure that every OCD person I've ever met is totally convinced I'm a slacker LOL! Deb xo
LOL on the card. What a hoot.
As for the days of the week....to me they're all rolled into one anymore. But I can relate to your 'hibernation' from winter/work days!!!
But it is fun to think about Friday anyway. Only one more sleep and it will be Friday. So just thinking about what you are going to buy. Love the card and that is so true.
Well, if it makes you feel any better, you have left me speechless again. I don't have an exact reason why, neither!
we are all in the same boat with you... i can't tell you how many times in the past year i have thought the days were closer or further off..
What is it with this week/winter? I was confused last night too about which day was tomorrow!
I guess I'm that slacker! lol!
When you are retired and one day is pretty much like all the others it is only sticking to a schedule that keeps one somewhat in sync with the calendar and the rest of the world. And sometimes a schedule doesn't even help (Shopping on Thursday. Wait, what's today, Wednesday or Thursday? Friday! We were supposed to shop yesterday.)
Love that card because - I've said that!
I'm retired and have a devil of a time remember what day it is. It's what we do. I remember being off a day at work and sometimes it was in my favor and sometimes it wasn't.
Love the index cards. I love all your index cards.
Have a fabulous day Ann. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches for Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Just had to come back and tell you - this morning, twice in 20 minutes I said this - albeit silently inside my head - but still I said it.
You need to be retired when one has to look at the calendar occasionally and see what day it is. A neighbor was a week behind.
I did exactly the same thing yesterday... I thought that today was FRIDAY.... Such a disappointment... ha ha
Always love your cards.
Hugs,
Betsy
Yup, it often gets jumbled up for me too. Very cute card!
WOW! That reminded me of the old "who's on first"...LOL! Do you think you think too much????...:)JP
