Dollar Tree purchases

Some of the Dollar Tree locations have amazing craft departments. People are finding all kinds of craft supplies that just have not been available in my area. Recently the local Dollar Trees have been adding some of these items. When I was there the other day not only did I actually find the items I was looking for, but I found a couple other things that I picked up too. First off are the items that I went specifically to find. I didn't hold much hope out when I went because usually I can't find what I need. These are the items that I will be making in to something. That's all the info I'm going to give at this time. Sorry for the teaser.
The little trays aren't very big. They are 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches and 1 3/4 inches high. The arrows are around 13 inches.

These are the other two items that I picked out
There are some handy dandy little craft clamps and some silicone finger protectors. I actually had some of the finger protectors in my shopping cart on Amazon. I don't remember how many were in the package but they were between six and seven dollars. This package was $1 for three of them. These are to put on the ends of your fingers when you're using hot glue so that you don't burn your fingertips

Yesterday I worked on the project with the little wood trays and the arrows. Hopefully I'll have that finished soon and can show you

The clamps are kind of pretty, and a bit unusual. I can't make out what they look like or how they work. I see lots of possibilities with the trays! Maybe decoupage?

I can't wait to see your next crafty treasures, Ann! I look forward to those each time!! Yes, Dollar Tree is wonderful. I love them especially for holiday paper plates & napkins and plastic table covers. At a dollar a piece you can't beat it. ~Andrea xoxo

I miss the old "five-and-ten-cent stores" of our youth. There were two in Meadville when I was growing up. The nicer one had linoleum tile on the floors. The other one had worn-out-looking wooden floors. Dollar stores are the new five-and-ten-cent stores. It's fun just to browse.

I could sure use those finger protectors. I can imagine all sorts of creative projects with the arrows and boxes so it will be interesting to see what your idea is - you keep us on our toes, lol. ^^

I bought those clamps too but need to look for the finger protectors next time I go since I always burn the hell out of myself using hot glue. I can't wait to see what you do with the trays and arrows!

Ah, I shall look forward to seeing what you do with the trays - I really like trays for organizing "things" - I have quite a few, some in closets to corral small items and one large one on my dresser to keep the odds and ends all neatly contained.

I am excited to see what you will come up with. I watch a gal at you tube that doed DOllar Tree crafts. She is crafty like you. Our youngest daughter Hannah received a circuit for CHristmas from her hubby and hse is super crafty. Both of our daughters Rebekah and Hannah are crafty. But Noelle our oldest and myself are not as crafty. She is a cook though, kust like my mom was :-) Good to see you here. Have a great day!

Those little trays could be handy for things as they are. But will be waiting to see what you do with them.

I think when things are back to normal I need to shop at a Dollar Tree. I love what you found.

Ginny, they are just an ordinary clamp but miniature. They come in handy for holding things while glue is drying

CheerfulMonk I enjoy browsing through dollar Tree. Yes, it's a lot of junk but hey, it's only a buck...lol

Ella, I love Dollar Tree

Anni, Aw shucks, thanks. I'm forever burning my fingers with the hot glue

Andrea, Yes, Dollar Tree is awesome for paper plates and napkins

Cynthia I didn't go to Meadville much when I was growing up but in Erie we had five and ten cent stores.

Grace, These trays are pretty small but I'm thinking a few of them in a drawer could work well

Sandee, I did. Any day off is a fun day though

We have those kind of stores here in NZ - but they are often haphazard in what is available. I will see something and use for whatever reason, like once I found some thing that would be useful to stop balls of yarn rolling away - and everyone at the craft group - wanted one. No one could find them at their favourite el-cheapo stores, nor could I.

We also have Spotlight which would more than likely have your "ready to decorate" objects.
