I don't know if I can actually call this nature. Maybe it's a lack of housekeeping. My basement gets tons of cob webs. I was doing laundry the one day and noticed how bad it was around the window.
I think these should stay put at least until Halloween though. That gives me an excuse to put off the cleaning a bit longer.
Your basement has a bit of a spooky vibe going on! Those cobwebs can definitely add to the Halloween spirit. Sometimes a little neglect can lead to unexpected charm! Embracing the seasonal decor while postponing chores is a classic move. Enjoy the ambiance for a while longer! I have the horrible ability of being able to find absolutely any spider web outside w/o looking. Especially the ones who spin a web from the maple tree to the car door handle and all of the webs are the same level as my face. LOL Hugs Cecilia
OMG! I do not like spider webs. When we went to Adam and Gabby's to leave for Houston, James took us into their bedroom and showed us a web from the window, on the back porch. We thought it was fake. Gabby has decorations everywhere. Found out later from them that it was real and they left it there when we left and did not kill the big spider.
Yes, that's a good idea! I read once that cobwebs are the remnants of old spiderwebs. I always thought they were just built-up dust. Whatever, they DO give me the creeps.

They look like you put them there on purpose!

Ann I think I have a few of those decorations in my laundry room too. Yes, I agree they just need to remain at least until Thanksgiving. :)!!
Excellent idea! I will do the same :)
