I've kind of turned into Wade, as in I spend almost all of my time in the cave. The difference between me and him is that he kept it dark. He would have the curtains closed, and would watch tv with the lights out. I need light. During the day the curtains are open and if it gets too dark I closed the blinds and turn on lights. I dislike watching tv in the dark.
The one problem with hanging out in the cave is that it is the coldest part of the house. There are plenty of cozy blankets but at times Gibbs is hogging them.
One day recently I decided that I would go to an old hangout. My living room. While Wade would watch tv in the cave I would always watch in the living room. Odd yes, but we didn't like the same things. Gibbs and I enjoyed a nice evening kicking back with the tv on and a few candles lit.
It looks kind of dark in the pictures but I did have the lamp on next to the couch and I also had the light on in the kitchen.

It looks so pretty and cozy!
I agree with Ginny, it does look cozy and inviting.
I would do the same thing, especially if it is warmer. I hate being cold.. love your slippers and it does look cozy.. you can do whatever you want to, and I am glad you did....
It's good to relax in just the way you want to. I like the candles.
That looks so cosy!
What a lovely spot for you and Gibbs.
On the weekend Bryan and I have a several shows we watch together that we tape during the week. He watches lots of car shows, scifi movies (I went to see the Alien with him ages ago that was my first and last scifi) and train stuff upstairs during the week nights. I have a lamp on by the couch and I have some fairy lights on the mantel this time of year.
Hugs Cecilia
PS I watch lots of tv series shows he doesn't like them
and I like hallmark movies.
It does look like a nice room to hang out in. I need lots of light to feel good...windows with sunlight. It gives me energy! And I need it! lol
