I did a search on my blog and discovered that I purchased some diamond painting Santa ornaments back in 2022. I only finished 2 of them and the kit I bought had 20. Fast forward to this year. I had been sitting around doing nothing and watching tv far too much. I decided to pull out those ornaments and do those.
Old eyes sometimes have a hard time seeing things clearly. I clipped my mega magnifying glass with light to a tray table and it made it so much easier.
We won't even discuss how many times I tipped this tray over and sent all those little pieces all over the place.
As I type this, I now have 10 done and another one about half done. Looks like I'll finally be able to use these this Christmas.

Wonderful.
I just love the way diamond paintings look! But they seem so tedious to do, and such small work! I don't know how you have the patience.
That looks such painstaking work. A magnifying glass makes such a difference to close work, doesn't it?
Great job on getting things done.
Very cool!
Ann these are delightful. You will certainly be able to decorate well for Christmas with these special ornaments. Funny on Hallmark this month they have featured Christmas in July shows. Even though it is 6 months away folks are gearing up for this special holiday. Have a super day. Hugs!
OMDs Ann this is like a paint by number but with glitter and glue
I'm glad you found this project and will be able to complete it.
I bet Presley would live this too.
Hugs to you and Gibbs

I love those - I don't know if I could do it with my hands. But they are so pretty.
I absolutely *love* to diamond paint. I'm so glad you got these out & will have some nice new ornaments on your tree this year, Ann. I put a diamond painting glue over my pieces when I'm done. It helps the diamonds stay in place over the years. The brand I use is Topwey & I just brush it on with an artist-type brush. It's water based so it washes out easily. I get it on Amazon. Love, Andrea xoxo
These are so cute! I expect they are real sparkly on the tree.
Love them and way to go on getting Christmas things done. I have one of those diamond pictures of sunflowers to do. Its been sitting in my closet since before Christmas.. I do think I should give it a try too.
That would be me on the tipping those little pieces all over the floor.

I know how that feels when I tip the tray when beading! ugggg
I have to use magnifying glasses sometimes but I don't have a big one like that for craft projects. Might be one in my future. ;)
I've never done any of the diamond kits. These will be cute having them done for Christmas for your tree or even hanging in windows or on a door. Spilling tons of tiny stuff---awk! I could almost physically feel the reaction--lol! :)
Sorry about tipping that tray over. Looks like a lot of work to me. Good for you working on them.
They are so nice. Is Diamond painting also called Diamond Art. Next month the library is having an afternoon showing how to do Diamond Art and I signed up for it. We will be making a lawn ornament of some kind I'm told.
I'm impressed! They are so pretty, but I could never do something like that because of my eyes. It must feel good to be finishing them. :)
I haven't tried diamond painting before, but I love the look of it. I guess you need a lot of patience, though :)
