Gassing up.

No this is not about all those baked beans and deviled eggs that I ate on Labor Day. This is about traveling into Ohio to gas up my car.

I used to fill my tank and it would last me a month. Now a full tank of gas only lasts me a week. Gas in the small town where I live is about .40 cents more per gallon than it is at a small little convenience store in Ohio. It's about 11 1/2 miles away from home so it's worth the drive.

Not much of a picture but I was trying to take the sign that says how much gas is. That particular week it was $3.12 while in Albion, where I live it was $3.55

Yes, that is worth the trip! I'm glad you live close enough to do it. :)

There sure is a huge difference in gas places everywhere. I remember your bakery job was much closer.

Prices are rising all the time and it makes sense to save where you can.

Definitely worth the trip! We buy our gas at places that give us a better deal. It is worth driving out to them.

Huge difference and well worth the drive. Wow on one tank a week OUCH! to the purse for sure... Did the grocery store ever open? I keep forgetting to ask? I buy Walmart gas since its the cheapest in town, but since I don't shop but have it delivered, I can go 3 months on a tank..

Yes, I would travel that distance for those kind of savings!

WOW!!!!!!!!! What a difference!! How can they get away with that?! I'd drive the 11 miles too, to fill up. I sure wish you could have found a job closer to home. But you sure did try. *hugs* Love, Andrea xoxo

Ann you made me giggle, beans and deviled eggs You are a funny friend.
WE paid 2.79 for gas here before our vacation and 2.77 before we left to drive home. Wonder why yours is so high?
Hugs to you and Gibbs

Our gas price is currently $2.68 a gallon. I would say the trip is worth saving money. Enjoy your day Ann.

Today we filled up with diesel, and a liter costs 1.55 euros, which is equivalent to 5.86 dollars per gallon. I see we're even higher.
Nevertheless—a wonderful Sunday to all of us!!!
I went to the pastry shop today and treated myself to a slice of cherry chocolate cream cake, my husband had a raspberry yogurt—both were delicious... I love baking, but every now and then we go to the pastry shop because they're so good.

Everything is expensive so it's good to save every chance you get.

Well, be glad you aren't in Northern California.
Gas at CostCo last week was $3.99 a gallon. That's the cheapest around. Most places are $4.39 and up...
Bless our Gov. Newsome.

Although I cannot speak about gas prices because thankfully I do not drive and take public transit here in Montreal, I do hear about the rising prices on pretty much everything on the news...and many affect me personally, such as food, personal needs such as shampoo, etc.
It is ridiculous.

We are lucky here in GA. It is about $2.79. It's hot though. I would drive to get gas too.
