Pumpkin redo.

When I first showed the pumpkin I made on the knitting loom, I wasn't completely satisfied with it. Mostly I didn't care for the stem.

I wasn't going to make another one but then changed my mind and tried again. I was much happier with the second attempt. I still used the felt stem but cut it shorter than the first time. Then I added some silk leaves and some excelsior

I also tied a piece of yarn around it tightly in 3 different spots to give the appearance of veins in the pumpkin.

Your "re-do" is perfect. Love the shorter stem and the veins too.

it really is much cuter this way and I had no idea the name of the stuff around the stem. have never heard the word excelsior. adorable is not a word I would use for a pumkin but it fits this one
