I don't care whether that ground hog sees his shadow or not. I'm ready for spring now. The temps this week are going to be better than they were last week but still COLD.
Last Thursday It was super cold with negative temps. I left for work and was going to take my shoes but decided to take my slippers instead. Yes, I also have a blanket at work too. If you think this is bad, the other girl has an electric blanket that she uses. It's warm enough in our office but the blanket adds another layer of comfort on a cold day.
Even though it was cold, the sun was shining which made it feel just a bit better. I took some pictures through the window
We had another day that week that was nice and sunny all day long then an hour before it was time to leave it started snowing like crazy. I was stressing that whole hour about the drive home. It was all good though because the roads hadn't gotten too bad and the ride was uneventful.

You look quite cozy, and I'm glad all the employees can bring in cuddly warm things!
This winter seems to drag on and on. It's great you and your colleague can bring blankets to work!
Bringing that extra comfort to work on these days makes very good sense. It’s also a safety thing in case your electricity goes out there. Thanks for the snow photos too. It looks real pretty but having had the experience of driving through it when snow is falling, very scary. Glad you got home okay.
One of my favorite movies! Enjoy the day.

oh no, that whole hour I can feel the stress building, not knowing how much it would dump and where. glad there was some sun and what a super idea for slippers and blankets, both non and electric..
I'm glad you had some sun and blue skies a bit this week. It really does make a big difference. Love the pic of your snuggly slippers.
I also kept a blanket at work for those extra cold days...nice!
That's too much snow! Move to Texas...lolol

45 days til spring
OMDs that is a lot of snow piled up at the bus stop
I love the blue sky and sun but it is so deceiving when its in the single digits
Warm hugs cecilia
That was way too cold! And I sympathize worrying about the drive home. I’m glad it didn't turn out too bad. ❤️
While I do enjoy seeing the snow, I am thankful that we don't get major snow storms. Our ice storm last week has been enough for me this year...I'm not ready for daffodils..
yep...silly groundhog tradition, does he seeing his shadow really signify anything?? i work from home and come however i want, i am more productive when i am warm and comfortable. i get scared whenever we drive in the snow, i don't drive, but it is fun to be the passenger in the "4 wheel drive sled" while it's snowing!!
I think you're very sensible to make sure you're warm. Trying to work when feeling cold is horrible.
It's always going to be six more weeks of winter. Always.
Staying warm is a good thing.
Have a fabulous day and week. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to handsome Gibbs. ♥
Beautiful photos, ❤️ Ann.
Snuggly slippers for you at work..that's wonderful that you can do that.
Glad to see some sunshine in your area and that you got home safely in all of that snow.
(((hugs)))

When you see those photos of all that snow and cold - those blankets and slippers look so good!
That's interesting about the slippers and blanket. Also the girl with the electric blanket. Why do they keep it so cold? That's a good amount of snow. Sorry that it started snowing again on your way home. Hope you have a nice week.
Ann, I feel like I've gotten lost somewhere here in blogland because I thought that you had retired. What happened or am I just mistaken?
It's been such a cold and snowy January!! It will make us enjoy spring that much more. :)
Sun shine always makes things a little more tolerable!
