I told you that I've been working on Christmas already. I actually started it right after Christmas last year. The plan was to just buy one gift per person each month. We are currently on month 5 and I now have 8 gifts for everyone.
When I get them, I wrap them and put them in the appropriate tote, I bought extra large gift bags that will hold all the gifts.
They are currently just sitting on the bench in my dining area
None of the gifts are marked as to who they are for but I know exactly who's bag is who's so that's all that matters. I suppose since I already have 8 I could stop at any time. Will I? Who knows. I may end up with more gifts than I can fit in the bags. This might be a little much but for this year, I'm having fun with it. None of the gifts are very expensive. I just see things and think, I'm getting that for so and so. There are even a few hand made gifts in there.

I used to do this, it is so helpful. But I haven't lately. It is not too late to start! You are so organized!
Good for you! That warms my heart.
I should do this...it definitely would help when Christmas arrived and I'd already be done shopping!
Hope you are feeling good? Thank you for the sweet card!!
hugs
Donna
Good for you getting well ahead. This November and December you'll thank yourself for it.
I start Christmas shopping / making in late summer. It's good to get ahead!
That is such a good idea. I'd love to do it, but I know I'm not organised enough.
My comment didn't post...this is take 2
Very wise and smart to buy early and when things aren't picked over and available. With fall winter weather you won't have to worry about shopping in snow
Hugs Cecilia
Such a great idea Ann. You are way ahead and by doing so, you will be able to sit back and enjoy Christmas to the fullest. Way to go!!
Way to go, I can't imagine buying things yet! I'm glad you are having fun with it.
Talk about planning ahead . . . you're the Queen :)
Well, that's the main thing, you are having fun and that's fantastic! I am very impressed that you started early. You won't have that gigantic rush at the end of the year. Applauding heartily! :)
I would keep it up and have a mega big Christmas this year - it will be a lot of fun!
How sweet! And very pretty and organized too. I used to do these when my grands were little, but not these days.
I love the Gingham.
I've always wanted to do that but do! Good for you!

A very organized way to go about your gift shopping. I'll have to think about trying that.
