You won't be seeing much of me the next couple days. I'm off to do another craft show with my friend Debbie. I have another post scheduled for tomorrow but I won't be around commenting again until Monday.
So I'll leaf you alone and hit the road.
The weather forecast for today is for isolated thunder storms with a 30% chance of rain and tomorrow is scattered thunder storms with a 60% chance. Boy do I ever hope they are wrong this time. We need rain but not while I'm trying to sell my stuff.

Frozen Fire
You may remember that my husband bought me the Kindle Fire for Christmas last year. I have totally loved that thing. It goes everywhere with me and I read on my breaks and lunch and anytime I have to wait for anything. That is until the other day. My Kindle froze up on me. I can't get by the screen you see in the picture.
What makes it even worse is that I was really in to the book that I was reading. I probably would have finished it the other day but my lunch was over and I had to go back to work. I knew I should have hid out in the stock room and kept reading. Darn!
Any way let me just say that Amazon was wonderful. I went to their help section and found the troubleshooting topics for Kindle Fire. I followed their suggestions with no luck and then contacted them. You can either choose to call their automated customer service number or leave your number and click "call me now" or "call me in 5 minutes" Believe it or not they called me in under 5 minutes. The customer service rep went through a series of questions and instructions and finally said that it was likely my poor fire was dead and they would send out a new one (since mine is still under the 1 year warranty) It should get here in 2 days and then I have 30 days to ship my old one back to them postage paid. Way to go Amazon. Now THAT'S customer service.

Stuck
Whenever I find something I like doing I tend to get stuck and only do that one thing until I'm totally sick of doing it. Right now I'm stuck on using the impressionist brush in photoshop elements. Every picture gets turned into a painting. I'm even taking pictures thinking "Oh that will make a nice painting" I wonder if this could be considered a type of obsessive compulsive behavior.
Oh well, doesn't matter because I'm not looking for a cure.
When I was at the beach last Sunday I spotted a couple sitting on the dock and I snapped their picture.
Maybe I should have asked their permission but once I painted over them would anyone really be able to identify them? I suppose if they were to see it they might know it was them. I really don't think they read my blog though. Oh my, it just occurred to me that maybe this was a secret rendezvous and maybe one of their spouses reads my blog and I have just let the cat out of the bag. Nah! That wouldn't happen. Or would it?

See here
Even though I've come back to posting I'm still very far behind on things around here.
Duke is over due for a grooming again. He doesn't look quite as bad as he did in this picture from last year though
I upgraded my photoshop elements program and was playing around with text on a path. That's a new feature that I've never had before.
The plain truth in black and white though is that Duke needs a hair cut.
Maybe this month I'll finally get it all together and get myself organized. Then again maybe not
