My get up and go...

...Got up and went.

First it went to the store to pick up a few things.

Then it went back home and made a big pot of cold weather comfort food.

It went to my craft room and dug out a piece of stitching I've been trying to decide what to do with. Then it made this pillow.

It also played with some paper and cut out Christmas ornament shapes. I know, it's early yet but I'm blaming it on Catherine. Besided I can get a head start on making Christmas cards.
I hope my get up and go feels like doing a little more of the same today.

Need a bigger box

Did I ever tell you that I have a box filled with projects that have never been finished? Well I do. I don't know how many things I have in there and I'm not going to count because I just don't want to know.
I have another project that will most likely end up in the box.
I saw these felt sugar cookies in one of the magazines I recently bought and decided to make some. I guess I should have started a little sooner because I didn't get them done. Unfortunately when I was cleaning my stuff off of the dining room table these got put in to a stack of magazines and set in my craft room where I quickly forgot about them. Well I guess I have a head start on next years halloween projects. I think I better find a bigger box for all of my works in progress (or more like lack of progress)

Collision

Duke recently sent me out shopping to replenish the snack cupboard. Since I wanted to have enough time to browse through the craft department I quickly grabbed a bag of Beggin Strips off the shelf and was on my merry way.
When I got them home and opened them up I thought they smelled rather different. Apparently they have a new flavor

Bacon and peanut butter flavored. OMG!!! No wonder they smelled different.

Duke says they work for him.

Oh the shame of it all

Duke has a very bad habit. Oh yes he does. He insists on getting his nose as close as possible to your face. No matter how many times I have told him I don't like that he insists on doing it. And he doesn't just do it to me either. Well someone decided they were going to do something about his bad habit.

And what did Duke have to say about all of this? His response was "Just look at how well behaved I am. I have no idea what you are talking about. I am nowhere near entering my human sister's personal face space"

Of course seconds later when he thought I had put the camera away it was more like this. "Amanda, I want to give you puppy kisses. Hey can I sell your nose. Have you been eating something good? Can I have some, Can I have some"
