I wasn't very productive in the crafting department for the month of October. My project was the painted wine glasses to look like pumpkins.
I added a leaf topper to sit underneath a votive candle. I only managed to do 4 of them and I didn't do any other crafting at all.
We talked about stuffing in yesterday's post and I mentioned that I've gained too much weight. I'm terrible at dieting but I think I may have found one that could work for me.
This is index card number 65.

I'm going to try and pass
Tis the season to gobble till you wobble and I'm hoping that I can control myself. I've gained enough weight this year already.
I may have created it, and I may be posting it but I'm going to try and NOT do what it says
Speaking of stuffing (or maybe you call it dressing) do you like it plain or do you prefer to have extras thrown in?

Fading fast
We had several rainy windy days here and the fall colors are fading fast. Today I just have a picture I took a week or so ago and an edit of that picture

November
November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.
~Elizabeth Coatsworth (1893–1986)
Now that we've moved into November that means it's time to move on to a new theme for the index cards. While I'll still be doing snarky from time to time I think that you'll be seeing quite a few with quotes and sayings relating to Thanksgiving.
Even though I have to work today I guess I am thankful and grateful that I got to sleep in an extra hour
