I just don't get it

 I told you yesterday that I saw something Hobby Lobby that had me baffled. We were walking down the aisle that had all the Christmas ornaments and I just can not figure out why they make these or who would want to put these on their tree.

The first two are the most confusing to me.

The rest of them are also equally baffling.

What happened to the good old fashioned ornaments? Or at least make an ornament that is something that is actually related to the Christmas. I just look at these and shake my head and wonder why? What does this have to do with Christmas. 

Then again, the tree I put up in the Ann cave has wildlife type ornaments along with snowflakes and icicles. I suppose the wildlife isn't Christmasy either but it sure does come closer than any of these.

A day out with Amanda

 Saturday September 7th I went over to pick Amanda up for a day out. I had to say hello to Milo first

First we headed out to a craft show. Neither one of us got anything there.

No day out with Amanda is complete without going to Hobby Lobby

While I was there I saw these gnomes and thought of Ginny from Let your light shine.

After we left there we went to lunch at Panera Bread. It was cold and rainy out and this really hit the spot.

Tomorrow I'll show you something I saw in Hobby Lobby that leaves me totally baffled.

Miscellaneous stuff

 I'm just going to throw a whole bunch of non related stuff into one post today.

First a cake I recently did at work

After I blogged about the towel bar that I had my son put in for me some of you asked what it looked like. It's a no frills towel bar. Some of them were pretty expensive but I chose one on the low end. I mean it only needs to hold a towel.

Back when I sent out the September happy mail card, I also sent out a card to Presley. It was a happy back to school card.
