Leaf art

 I can't remember who's blog I saw this on but recently one of you had pictures of stacked fall leaves. I picked some up in the back yard and gave it a try. Mine weren't in the best of shape but I took them anyway.

I thought about trying to iron them flat and giving it another try. Unfortunately I did the above picture before I went to work. When I got home the leaves were still laying on the counter only now they were very dry and crumbly. Oh well. Maybe another time.

Draw down

 I recently had a conversation with your friend and mine, Sandra a.k.a. madsnapper. We decided to do a drawing challenge. We picked our drawing and each did our own version. Mine was done with an old fashioned pencil while hers was done digitally with an e-pencil and her Procreate app.

Mine looks quite plain in comparison. Hers have nice green grass to stand in while mine is just hanging there in limbo.

I got up this morning and realized I never wrote a post for today. I skipped right over it. Maybe I thought since I had the day off I would take the day off from blogging too.
