A slinky! I had one of those! They're lots of fun, but I haven't seen any in toy shops these days.
Yes, I had some of those, back then they were made of metal, not the cheapie plastic they are today. Do you remember "Willie" by Wamo!! Of how about Wishniks! Had a slew of those too!!! Have a great day, Ann.

One of my favorite toys as a kid. My son now thinks they are only to stretch out.
i don't know the song, but i would not be able to sing it if i did because the first two photos are fantastic and i was totally unprepared to find it was a simple slinky. photography's skill is what it took. and I to am easily entertained by anything and everything with camera in hand. you are soooo creative
My kids love Slinkys. I find it bizarre that they are now made out of plastic.
Sorry, but I don't know the tune! I had trouble at first figuring out what the photos were! I was hoping it wasn't the proctologist report, LOL!

Very cool shots Ann...however I have to admit to having a bit of a love/hate relationship with these things. My children had them and I spent most of my time untangling them for about two years...kind of takes the fun out of it!!

Our Mom sure remembers slinkies. And she is way beyond middle age. She used to love playing with them.
