A few craft projects.

I've had way more ideas and desire to craft than I have actual crafting time but I did manage to get a few things made.

In the basket in the back are some eggs. Those are the cheap plastic ones from the dollar store. I wrapped them in jute or sisal twine and then decorated them with some ribbon and buttons.

Moving to the right is a toilet paper roll bunny. He's covered in Easter scrapbook paper then I added the face, ears and feet. As I'm typing this post and looking at the picture I just noticed that the paper he's wrapped in is upside down.

The two Easter baskets are made out of peat pots. One I painted the whole thing then added polka dots and the other one I just added the dots. I finished them off with some lace and a pipe cleaner handle.

The last craft is a little banner. The shapes were cute using my Cricut machine. I added features to the bunny with marker and put a flower sticker on the one egg. I ran the two baskets and the one egg through my cuttlebug to give them some texture. Lastly I glued all the pieces on to a piece of jute twine and added a couple little bows on each end.

Ann, how or what did you put on the plastic eggs to hold the jute? Anything? I want to try some of these with Mia when I get home. Good morning from Aruba...:)JP

Okay...to be honest, I've truly missed your posts on your crafting ideas and project. I so enjoyed this seasonal work of art Ann!!! The 'garland' is my favorite I think.

Very cute Ann! Peat pots as baskets are so cute....plus it limits the amount of candy I can put in them. The parents of my grandbabies will appreciate that.
I LOVE the jute wrapped eggs! I'm adding them to my "to do" list!!

So cute! That toilet paper roll bunny looked like a can bunny or something bigger. He's cute even if he's upside down! :) Love the jute eggs!

No one would ever noticed the paper is up-side down...I always wonder about the technical end of things - I would like to see how the cricut machine works and the cuttlebug(?).

You know I love everything that you make. You are so talented. Yes you are. You did make me go back and look for the upside down paper. I wouldn't have noticed if you'd not mentioned it.

Have a fabulous day honey. My very best to Duke. :)

Like that toilet paper roll bunny.

Back before you started wanting to be so crafty, you never worried about your weight--right? So, would it be a stretch to think that crafting just might be really fattening?

By the way, Duke ain't got no time for no stinkin' diets. Therefore, GO FRY HIM SOME BACON!

I like the garland. While in AL I added some doodads to a wreath for one of Loretta's friends. It had two lonesome items and she wanted a bit more action. Mission accomplished. No pics.
