Something that caught my eye

A few weeks ago, at the craft show I was attracted to a little log cabin that was next to the building we were in. There's something about a log cabin that just pulls me in. I didn't get a whole lot of great pictures of it but there is one.

I had thought these were red shutters but I guess I was wrong. Either way it caught my eye

Log cabins always catch my eye too Ann! There's just something about them that is appealing!

I can't say I would want to chop all that wood. There is a real nice one near me, all new, that is a real charmer.

Really cool log cabin with very striking red window?
Love them as we don't have any over here.

That is a cute little cabin. I think one of the reasons we can be drawn to them is because of what they represent. To me they remind me of a simpler time, a time more pure in many ways than today. Sometimes I wish we could go back in time. But I'd miss my digital camera, photoshop, and my smartphone. I don't think this reply made much sense. But you know what I mean.

I know! There must be something in the collective American psyche that is drawn to our rustic roots. Nice pic.

Wow, that would be a really cool design for a doghouse for Gibbs. Maybe Gibbs should leave Wade some "presents" to get him going on the project?
