Yesterday I woke up to 34 degree weather. It was chilly but the sun came up big and beautiful and ready to shine. Since there won't be many more nice days left before winter hits I decided to take advantage of it.
I headed out while it was still cold and did my weekly shopping. When I got home it had warmed up enough that I could get out for a walk
I headed down the sidewalk and wherever there was leaves that's where I walked. I made as much noise as I could and enjoyed their rustling noise beneath my feet
In some spots there are more bare branches than there are leaves but there was still plenty of color to admire.
Some spots even looked pretty green still
The sights, the sounds and the scents of the day were heavenly

You really know how to live in and enjoy the moment!! Yes, lets savor it before winter comes. I love that little creek!!!
I like all of these especially the leaves and I can hear your feet rustling and I can see you taking those leaves which is what I would do. I love all the photos but my favorite is the one that's half dead with little bit of green at the top. You sure had a beautiful day to walk and beautiful sights to see and now I want to know which fork in the road did you take
It usually is in the middle to high 40's here, but I sleep with my window open.i put a lot of spring bulbs in and hope they don't spout. I hope you kicked some of those leaves in the air.
Great shots of your perfect walk. I love walks like this.
Have a fabulous day my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Walking through the leaves - Yes! Can't believe it's that cold already -
What a fun and beuitful walk. I wish that I had been there to enjoy it with you :)
Aw so lucky! The colorful fallen leaves are so pretty.
Oooh, I LOVE crunchy leaves! I've been walking through them each day on my walks as well. Did you notice the smell of the leaves?? I like that too.
Looks like a nice walk! I love shuffling through the leaves when I walk. It reminds me of when my kids were little and I would take them out for Halloween!
I enjoyed your walk. :) pretty photos! hugs to Gibbs!xoxo
What a beautiful day, thanks for taking us along on your walk! You are much greener than we are and almost all our leaves have fallen but it is still lovely and warm so I'm not complaining! Deb xo
