Miscellany

Life is really quite mundane. I do the same things over and over. I get up, I go to work, I come home, I clean, I eat, I sleep. Too bad there aren't some craft projects in that mix but unfortunately I just haven't had much of a desire to do them.

Saturday started out with a leisurely cup of coffee or two and sitting in front of my computer. For as long as I sat there you would have thought that all blogs had been read and all email had been answered. Nope. I don't quite know what I spent all that time on.

After some cleaning, Gibbs and I went out for a bit of a walk. Gibbs is aware of the fact that his leash clashes with his harness but being a guy he really doesn't care much about such things.

Passing by the funeral home, we had to check to see if there was a new rock. We weren't disappointed

The sign at the church told us what we need to accomplish.

Since I didn't want to neglect my duty to do good, I returned home and promptly rewarded Gibbs with a treat.

and Gibbs says You Done Good, Mom... at least the leash is not floral and the harness plaid or stripes... seems like fashion has gone crazy with the mixing of these things. I am still my old match match self. I also have gone into the time warp of computer and hours later wondered what the heck I was doing all that time.. Surf On Oh Computer Woman

Gibbs won with this do good. Good for him. Well deserved.

I wish I could wave a wand and make everything better, but I can't. Just know you're loved.

Have a blessed day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Perhaps you should turn your hand to some 'rocks'. And leave them for others to find as you take your walks...

Gibbs said "Thank You" I am sure.... Don't you just love those little painted rocks??? Reading a positive message ---wherever it is--always makes me feel better.

Hang in there, Cutie.... Life will get better and easier...

Hugs,
Betsy

I love those rocks! And Gibbs leash - my favorite color! I spend hours on the computer and get nothing accomplished so don't feel too bad. I think it happens to us all.

Ann I worry about you. You have had a lot to deal with lately....but at least, work and Gibbs are a constant feature in your life. Hang in there....this will get easier.

oops....one thing I tired to remember to say in my comment on your blog and then forgot, you asked about me moving to Calif. Right now, I have mom that needs me and my grandbabes are here so ~ no. If I could live on my income from the state of TN, I might really consider it but chances are probably not. Cory and Britney keep telling me that in 2 yrs when she has her PhD they will move to a bigger home where there will be space for me to move too....I however keep saying I will drive out there so I can have my car, bring my furbabes and stay a couple of months. Would I love it, probabaly so. The temps might get up but I have found that I can deal better if the humidity is not so bad. No winters to deal with....but on the flip side, I have lived here for 56 yrs, my brothers are here, my daughter, grandkids and friends. I know where things are, I know my fave spots and if not so old I would love making new friends and finding new fave places but....with the fibro, being as social as I used to be, and not so much, I probably would not adjust well.

Treats are always good. Every good dog appreciates them.

Routine is good for now. Okay...it is boring, but considering your last month, I would say boring is good. As you get used to your new life, you can add in new adventures. I like Grace's idea of painting rocks. Or modpodge them....mix it up. I took a caligraphy class and that prompted me to start a whole new interest. It's great to find a new art form.

Sometimes it's those little things (like that rock) that mean the most. I'm glad you rewarded Gibbs with a treat.
