I snapped the above picture while I was sitting and waiting for my physical therapy on my shoulder. I've gone twice so far and I'm supposed to go 2-3 times a week for 8 weeks. I have yet to be told what my co pay is and I'm hoping that they don't all of a sudden send me a huge bill. I did ask about it but she said she had to wait to hear from the insurance company. Quite honestly I could do all of this at home with the exception of the heat stim treatment at the end of the session.

Is it too soon to know if it is helping? I'm sure you are nervous not knowing about the bill!
Therapy like this can be costly, bit if it is helping, worth it!!
You might better ask him how much it is call your insurance because my insurance is an HMO and my therapy in 2015 was $50 copay per visit. What a beautiful place to do therapy and I love that window and would like to have it so I could put plants in it like that more Filomena's haha
PT is the only reason I am walking. My therapist gave me a print-out of all the exercises I could/should do at home and 15 years later I am still doing them. Way better than complicated surgery that would have made things worse. Yes, definitely call your insurance company yourself, if it's not a work related injury then I'm pretty sure you have a co-pay - mine was $25 way back then and still is the same now. And get that print-out of at-home exercises if your PT hasn't given it to you already.
I would definitely want to know before I kept going!
Physical therapy works if you do what they tell you to do. Surgery wasn't something I wanted and with physical therapy I didn't need the surgery.
Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
I'll bet the heat stim part is the best, eh? I hope you start to feeling better with your shoulder, Ann. People tell me how important physical therapy is, to a wounded part of the body, so I think it's good that you're going. ~Andrea xoxoxo
I hope it helps and you don't have to pay too much.
Hopefully you won't have to pay anything. I know it's not easy going to therapy several times a week. I think I remember that machine when I had my knee therapy. Take care.
