Stepping out

I know I said it yesterday but I'm saying it again today. I wasn't prepared for how quickly I would get bored with being off.  What a difference between only having a week off  knowing you will go back to work and being off for a week with no clue when you'll work again.

Unfortunately I haven't been as ambitious as I had hoped to be. I have spent way too much time doing very little. I need to get myself moving and I'm trying to force myself into making time for exercise. Monday it didn't look too bad out so I went out for a walk.

Some of the sidewalks were shoveled and some not.

Me and my shadow, strolling down the avenue.

These boots were made for walking

The sun was out and the temperature wasn't too bad but there was a wind that had my face feeling a little on the cold side.
Almost home

The final stretch before I reached my driveway.

Good for you! Exercise is so important. For me it's crucial for my mental as well as physical health.

Some of your streets do not look safe. And I recognized both of these songs!

Lovely bright day, and the sun reflecting off the snow made it even brighter. Bags of fresh air - very good.

yippee... excercise is the only thing that keeps me moving and the more I move the better I feel. do you have a gym or YMCA you could go to? I went 5 days a week from 2006 until 2020 shut us down,

Great idea to get out for a walk. Its so good for you mentally and physically. I love walking in the winter more than the summer when it's hot and humid. Have a great Friday!!

Ann that is true dedication and yay you walking outside on what looks like a very chilly day. I'm such a wimp it has to be above 45 for me to walk outside in the winter or below 75 in the summer
Hugs to you and Gibbs

I'm glad you got out for a good walk. That makes you tired and ready to be inside for awhile. You'll figure out a good routine my friend!

That's a lovely walk you took us on. It will all fit into place soon. Transitions are always difficult.
