Down the road

I took a walk the one day and on my way home I snapped some pictures. This is a building that used to have a small store in the bottom part of it. Someone is now living in it. They change out the big front windows for all the holidays and seasons.

This is what the building looks like. It's pretty old and really not much to look at.

Those windows are delightful though. Some of the displays they put in there are pretty impressive.

Wow, it still looks like an old store! I have never seen a store that someone used as a home! But it would be heaven for a decorator! They have their own store window. And it looks like no one can see inside either.

Homes that used to be shops still continue to look like shops!

I love it when people have "unconventional" places to live. How fun is that! That took a lot of work to decorate the window fronts like that...and simply for the pleasure of others, to look at. God bless them! P.S. But I think they better pick up that brick on the ground & dispose of it. It could give some nare-do-wells an idea real fast. Love, Andrea xoxo

Its a great way to use old buildings, this one looks like it is in pretty good shape, and it looks like they collect raggedy Ann and stuffed toys.. great way to store and show them.

Must be some creative people who live there now. I love seeing unconventional homes. :)

How interesting that someone lives in that building now.

That would be a fun place to walk by with their changing displays. I was watching a YouTube of a couple who bought an old building that used to be a store, I can't remember where exactly but I want to say Boston. It was amazing what they did with it.
