Visiting dogs and softball

If you follow me on Facebook you probably already read about this. I was outside the one day with Gibbs when I spotted 2 large dogs approaching through the back yards. I tried to get Gibbs inside but he was too busy playing tough guy and barking at the intruders. Thankfully the dogs were friendly and didn't seem to mind Gibbs at all. As I was trying to coax Gibbs in the house the big black dog was more than willing to go inside, Gibbs was not.

They eventually saw all they needed to see and moved on. I found out later that they belonged to the brother of a girl I used to work with and that they did find their way back home safe and sound.

Presley is playing softball again this year so I've been going to her games. I haven't taken many pictures but I did snap this one through the fence to prove that I was there.

Does she really like softball? It must be scary when you are out with Gibbs and unknown dogs come in the yard!!

I would be nervous of those dogs too. Glad they were friendly and that they made it home.

Presley must love that you go to see her games.

It is good they were friendly, I always hate seeing dogs running loose, and when we are walking, I turn and don't pass them. so happy for you and Gibbs they were not aggressive dogs. Tiny Terrorist Gibbs say You wanna piece of me, I'll give you a piece." I know Presley likes to see you out there watching

I'm glad Gibbs' territory was not invaded!

I'm sure Presley loves seeing you there at her games. I know I always loved it when parents/grandparents came to my games.

I'm glad the dogs were friendly and made it back home. Always worry about dogs running loose unattended.
I'm sure Presley is happy to know you are out in the stands cheering her on. :)

Yay for Presley playing softball. The softball field is a great place to be in the Summer...Thankful that the dogs were nice...they really had Gibbs attention.

I love watching children play sports. Our Austin (turning 38 soon) played softball one summer & I loved sitting out in the fresh air, in the evening, watching him. It only lasted one summer as he's not a "sports kid" but it was fun while it lasted. I hope Presley has a lot of fun....Grandma too! ~Andrea xoxo

The pups are having a conversation about something. Cute.

I so remember going to the grands games and events. Such fun.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
