I take my lunch to work every day. It's usually something healthy since I'm trying to do better. Thursday 8/7 I was starving and knew that what I had brought just wasn't going to cut it. There are lots of options in the area and although it wasn't healthy, I went to Burger King.

Fast food has always been expensive, to my mind. Once in a while, it's a treat and a change.
I forgot my lunch one day last week too, so I went to Culvers for a burger and fries. It cost about the same.
WOW 10 bucks...but at least the 'fish' was kinda healthy.
I never buy beverages when I eat out just drink water that saves $2 or 2.50.

I think that is the going price for lunch these days. Maybe you can treat yourself on Fridays.
I can see why you balked, $10 is a lot to pay for fast food.
Whether $10 is a lot depends on how much the wages are. In Greece, electricity remains very expensive, even though so many hydroelectric plants have been built, solar panels and wind turbines have been installed, I don't know what's going on and electricity is still expensive! Also, products in supermarkets are becoming more and more expensive.
We enjoy a fast food lunch once in a while. It sure has gotten expensive!!!

Burger King is my absolute favorite fast food place. A Whopper with cheese is my poison. *haha* Yes, I believe that cost $10. It's expensive to even breathe these days. Ugh! Love, Andrea xoxo
I'm glad you enjoyed your lunch at Burger King. I agree things have gotten too expensive. We door dashed at Adam and Gabby's and it was over $100 for our burgers from Red Robin.
