I saw an ad for an AI dog on Facebook. It was adorable. I went to Amazon to see if they had the same thing advertised. I found the exact same one

I should mention that this was only $20 .
The dog arrived in a small plastic mailer.
There was no box, there was no USB cable just the dog stuffed in the little plastic mailer.
He isn't rechargeable, he runs on 2 AA batteries. He doesn't act like the video shows. He takes several steps, stops and barks while wagging his tail and then repeats the same thing over and over and over until his batteries wear out or you shut him off.
I ended up clicking return and I did get my money back. They told me not to return the dog. The funny thing is I offered him to Presley and even she didn't want him.

Good grief! I noticed that Amazon only gave it one and a half stars for a review. I never buy anything under four. But how they can say it is A.I. is a total mystery. Well, you now have it for free, but what will you do with it?

The thing that is shocking to me, is not that this is a scam, but that Amazon has it listed and did not remove it after all the complaints. Wow! it is shocking though. I can see on the video why you would buy it..
I almost bought one of these AI toys - but I researched first - and yup, your review is just like all the other reviews...junk!
That's what I love about Amazon....you can read the reviews & make your decision as to whether you want to make a purchase or not. Nobody was happy with this toy & left all kinds of reasons why. What a misleading add...He isn't even as cute as what you saw on line.
I got my daughter one through Walmart - all it does is walk and bark. I never thought of taking it back! I am going to try.
These scams sure can sucker one in... Too cute in the ad but wow, nothing like it for real and that packaging is horrible. Cheapness overload.

There is a big difference between the advertisement and what you received. I'm glad you got your money back. I had to laugh a little that Presley didn't want it.
That's the beauty of Amazon. Easy to return. The pup is a disappointment, though.
