Progress

I have more progress on the work going on behind my house. I came home from work on Wednesday 9/10 and this is where they were at.

The next day I came home and the roof was on.

Two days later on Saturday there were a couple guys up on the roof putting on shingles. They're just moving right along.

I'm a bit worried about how the back is going to be. They've built the dirt up quite a bit just off my property line. I'm really hoping this doesn't create another flooding problem. I guess I can only wait and see what happens.

Hopefully this will end up being a blessing.

Good luck! That's scary about the potential flooding.

Hummm… the slope of the dirt doesn’t look good…is there a way you can speak with the contractor about it? Minor adjustments might be in order…hopefully not…it would be such a mess with washing into your yard.

Hello Murphy, there is always something waiting to frustrate us. I do hope they have the sense to level it off and not drain it on you...

I hope your fears are not realised. Planners don't think about the consequences of their buildings.

They can't just leave it at a higher level surely? That seems irresponsible.

I might would have to have a visit with the construction manger to make sure that the drainage will be done right and that it will be directed away from your lot

I hope when they are finished it doesn't cause flooding to your lot.

Ann I pray this will not cause you concerns. It is always hard to see changes in one's neighborhood. Even a tree being cut down at my neighbor's bothers me. Take care friend. Pray you receive some rain and lovely fall weather soon. Hugs!

Oh man, I hope not!

I'm sure they won't create a flooding issue for you. Takes a while to get everything done.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

Oh no I too hope they are being very attentive to their neighbors behind them. It is literally growing out of the dirt before our hours

The building is going up pretty quick. Everything here by me takes a LONG time.

I hope there are no consequences with flooding.
They really are moving along so quickly!! Wow!

Once things start going up they move fast! I hope they take into account your property might suffer if they don't do things just right. Did you get a phone number on any of their trucks that you can go to if needed?
