Village people

This isn't about the people but the village itself. More specifically the buildings I buy for my Christmas village. I was in Walmart Sept 20th and they had a bunch of their Christmas stuff out. I checked to see if they had new stuff for the villages. All the buildings and other accessories looked new but they all had much bigger price tags on them than they did last year. I'm pretty sure that most of the building last year were $14.97 or close to that.

I did like both of these buildings and I don't have a train station or a theater. I'm thinking I won't be adding too much new stuff to the village any more though.

Agree with Ginny.

It's shocking how prices creep up week by week, either that or the contents are reduced!

I love trains, and now there are not many train stations left. yikes, the price is doubled. I noticed on my prior orders from Amazon a few things that now are double. the warn me when the price goes up.

Everything is so expensive. We go without things we want too.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

A pretty big price increase! Maybe wait until the day after Christmas this year to pick up some new ones. It will be exciting to see the added pieces to your collections this year.

Can you find any on eBay for less? Or, Michaels with a 40 percent coupon? Sorry the price hike! Ouch.

Oh these must be lovely - makes me think of a three my mom purchased for me many years ago - that I always put out at Christmas. Hard to believe we are thinking of Christmas already. Hope you can get a mum or two. Mine are from a couple of years ago. I plant them in the ground when I buy them because if I do not they generally die because their roots are not established before winter hits. Take care Ann and have a great week. Hugs!

That's a big Tariff jump.
Great buildings though. Hard decision to spend or not to spend !

Is that from the Tariffs? Quite a price hike for sure. But I have to tell you everything I buy seems way over priced.
