Since I have health insurance again, I decided it was time to schedule a wellness exam. My appointment was on Tuesday !/6 at 3:30. I decided I would only work a half day and left at 1:00. That gave me plenty of time to stop at a couple of my favorite stores.
My first stop was Boscovs. I bought this pair of slippers
Then I went to Hobby Lobby. I took a picture while I was walking through the store and sent it to Amanda asking if she knew where I was
Of course she knew. While I was there I got a couple things that were perfect for next years Christmas gifts. I also bought some yarn, a couple pieces of cardstock for a project I'm going to work on and a tote bag to use for work. I may or may not add something to the front of it.
Before heading to the doctors I stopped at Burger King for lunch
I didn't leave the doctors office until 5:13. I didn't think I would be there that late. She's changing my prescription for my arthritis. Hopefully it will help with the pain I've had in my knees. I also have to get blood work, a mammogram, and she's setting me up with a cardiologist because lately I get winded any time I do anything strenuous.

Sounds like a really good doctor! What arthritis med did she give you?
Good luck with all the exams, Ann! I know how tedious those can be. The craft store looks enormous!
Big pat on the back for getting your health taken care of. My appointment is due in a couple of months. A good opportunity to check into a couple of stores and a nice treat having lunch out too. Your slippers are very nice. They’ll keep your feet toasty. Enjoy your week!
I am so happy you went to the doctor, and awaiting details of meds, and good news from the test and doctor visits.. that is a long time in the office. I do the once a year annual check up and hope you will too.

I hope it helps with your pain, that would be wonderful. LOOOVE Hobby Lobby. Was just there to pick up a few candle making things. What I love the most about Hobby Lobby is the every other week sales. I love that. So fun. BK sounds good. I love their Impossible Burger with all the fixins.

Glad you got this well check behind you and can follow up with the other test the doctor ordered. Hopefully the new meds will make a huge difference in your kneews. Hobby Lobby is always a great place to spend some extra time.

Ann so glad you have insurance again and can have regular check ups. It is so funny I was just sharing with my friend that I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby and find some new decorations. What a fun place. Will pray your knees get better and all the other doctor visits check out find. Hugs!
Sounds like you have a good and thorough doctor. Hope the new meds work for the knee pain and that your cardiologist can help you with the breathing issues.

I had my wellness checkup last week. I got a referral to an audiologist because I have hearing loss! Getting older is not for the weak but it beats the alternative!
