A 4 day weekend.

I don't know if I mentioned or not that I had taken a four day weekend last week for my birthday. My birthday was on Saturday so I took the Thursday and Friday before off. I didn't do a whole lot but it was nice not having to get up and go to work.

Thursday I stayed home all day. I did some cleaning, played on the computer and worked on some craft projects.

Friday I ran to Walmart for my weekly shopping. When I got back home the desk chair I bought myself for my birthday was sitting on the front porch. Please pay no attention to the peeling paint around my front door. I really should take care of that.

I dragged the box inside, opened it up and put it together. Out with old and in with the new
The other chair was ok but it had definitely seen better days. I rather like my new one. Just have to sit in it a while to break the seat in.

You sure made the right choice on your not so new now job... all this paid time off is super great... I can't see the paint, if you could see my back yard and the side of the house where Bob stores his JUNK you would not even blink at paint...

I'm so glad you took time off to celebrate your birthday. Love the new chair. I'm sure every single one here has a lot of home projects to tackle. (I know I do) It's one of the joys of owning a house.
Have a great Wednesday!

That is a very comfy looking chair...
With all the cold, wet, snowy weather in PA the outside suffers.
Here the humidity is what gets us. Our Deck was power washed last May to get off mildew etch that humidity causes.
By late Oct the mildew was back. Back of house faces south not much sun to help dry.

I think the best thing about your Birthday Weekend is the ME Time.
Just doing things on your own schedule can really charge your batteries.
Love your new chair. We sure need several of those at our house too.

Happy Belated Birthday and I love that you got yourself a new chair. Also, I didn't even see the paint. I was focused on the box. So fun that you got a new chair.

Well darn I missed your birthday - I hope it was a good one. I've been a bit out of it lately (sick with that horrible cold/cough). Very nice chair.
