Most people would buy a table runner to go on their coffee table. I bought a coffee table to put my table runner on. I ordered an inexpensive coffee table from Amazon so that I had something to put that table runner on in the Ann cave that Amanda bought me for my birthday.
It came on Wednesday April 8th. It sat unopened until the next Friday. That night I put it together and let me just say I hate putting furniture together. All was good until the last screw that just would not go in for anything.
It was together though so I grabbed the table runner. Gibbs approved.
So Saturday I made the decision to move all the furniture around. In my younger years I could have done this in an hour or so. These days it's an all day project because it requires plenty of breaks. And of course my hip was screaming at me the whole time wanting to know what in the world I was thinking doing work like this.
In the end I liked this set up better and Gibbs again gave his approval.

The runner looks great on your coffee table! I can imagine how much work that was moving the furniture by yourself.
I love it!! It looks great and kudos to you for moving the furniture around, it isn't as easy as it used to be I know.
It's such a shame that we cannot bank some of the energy and strength of our younger years. I hope you had a well-deserved rest after your efforts.
At least you could do it, I can't even move a chair. I can move one table out of three in the living room, the other two I can't. I had to pay a man 50 dollars to come move the sofa to the curb and the love seat to the other wall. at least your work was free, except of course you paid with PAIN
Looks very nice in your Ann room. I'm impressed that you moved everything around. Like you, I used to be able to move furniture but I just can't risk hurting my back now days. The runner is very pretty and looks great on your new table.
Well ANN I love it but most importantly it has the GibbsPAW of approval...I like the table and the runner too
Hugs Cecilia
Well done and if Gibbs approves you're doing it right. Gibbs is very smart.
Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to handsome and smart Gibbs. ♥
It looks like you put the coffee table on the short end of the wall, leaving more space on the big wall. Good idea. It would have taken me a month to move it all and another one in the hospital. The coffee table and runner are perfect for the room!!
Kudos for being the furniture mover !!!
Its a too hard job for me but somehow we pursue and get things done. It looks great and the coffee table fits right in now.

Oh my gosh are the kids of today going to be surprised when they reach our age - I could do so much more. Kudos to you. Love your runner and your 'new' design.
Runner looks great on your new coffee table! :). The older we get the longer it takes for us do things. BUT at least you are still able to do it. :)
That was a lot of work! But it looks nice. ❤️
I do the same thing. If I get a bur in my bonnet and what to move things around, I just go for it. Of course I don't know how long I can move things, but I do it inch at a time. I love changing things up around the house, it makes a room seem so fresh and new. Good Job! Your room looks very comfortable and inviting.
I like the look of Amanda’s gift on your new coffee table. Looks like Gibbs approves too. It takes me a lot longer to do things. You persevered, clapping loudly.
The Ann Cave! I love that. I need a Granny cave.
You did good! That runner is really nice, worthy of a table.
that's a lot of work, but i do believe every family room/living room should have a coffee table. it looks great and i am sure it feels good to have it behind you!!
It looks very nice. Sorry about your back.
This looks great and I like how you arranged the furniture and also the table runner is lovely. Gibbs as always is adorable as can be.
