On Monday April 6th I had one heck of a day. Right now, Mondays are the day that I'm at work alone. I can't remember everything that happened that day but it was enough to make me very happy to see the end of the day.
The one thing I didn't forget and even took a picture of was my finger. Don't worry nothing gross. It's all hidden under a band aid.
I went to lunch and decided to run to Country Fair, the convenience store next to where I work. I locked the door and went. When I came back, I unlocked the door, opened it and the proceeded to get my finger in the way when the door was closing. It hurt like crazy and cut my finger right next to the nail. It bled like crazy but luckily it didn't do enough damage that will make me lose the nail.

Sounds like you are almost as clumsy as me. Every morning before I even sit down with my coffee, I usually have about three accidents of different kinds. Just a few minutes ago, I dumped a pint of water all over the couch and tray. I'm glad you did not get hurt worse!
Ouch. Cuts on fingers are painful. I hope it heals fast!
What a bad place to have a cut! Hope you don't keep re-injuring it!

Hope it's all healed by now. Cuts like that seem to take forever sometimes to heal.
Ooh, ouch! It takes something like that to make you realise how much you use your fingers - all of them.

Oh Ann...so sorry. Any kind of cut near a nail is very painful. One time MANY years ago, I had a job interview at an oil company. I was so nervous already and then when I went to get out of my car, I slammed the car door on my ring finger. It was cut near the nail. I went to the interview with a napkin wrapped around my finger (got the job) but I'm sure this was a first for the guy hiring me. Sitting there with a bloody napkin and trying to interview was not easy.. Hope your finger heals quickly.
