I guess no matter how hard I wish for things to be different I just have to face facts

As much as I would like to be wonder woman I just don't always have the energy.

Life doesn't come with a remote control.

You can't rewind and replay the good parts, you can't pause when things are hectic.  You can't stop and get off this crazy merry go round we call life. But you can record all the precious memories and you can play your role with enthusiasm.

There really is no point to this post other than a few of my random pictures from Sunday and the thoughts behind them.
The only other thought I have before I leave you for the night is "Man, is that remote control ever filthy"

Boredom buster

Yesterday after my angel therapy session I went back in to warm up and find something to do. I did work a little on a couple of projects but concentration wasn't my strong point of the day.
I grabbed the camera and started playing. When I was done I had discovered I had taken 135 pictures. That's 135 pictures of nothing but silly stuff. Things like remote controls, anything on the coffee table, the dogs brush, batteries and the thermostat were all some of my subjects.
When I ran out of things to snap I turned the camera on myself. With my outstretched arm I took self portraits of all the silly faces I could think of. Then I decided I wanted to see what I would look like with bangs.

I got some really strange looks while I was taking these. Not only from Wade but from Duke too. I don't care I was amusing myself.
Finally I took the card upstairs and started playing around with some pictures.

I really hated this picture of me. My face looked really strange so I cut half of it off and just started trying different effects. Maybe NEXT weekend I'll be more productive but then again maybe not.

Angels among us

Earlier today I felt the need to blow off a little steam. Being that it's February in the snowy commonwealth of Pennsylvania the best place to chill is outside. I put on a couple layers of clothes, slipped on my boots and headed out the door. I grabbed the shovel and started scooping snow out of the sidewalk.
While I was out there I got to thinking about one of my blog pals and something she did recently. I put down my shovel, walked to the back yard where no one could see me and then I did this

Of course before I dropped I carefully checked the area for any signs of yellow snow.

Yes it's a bit of a mess near the bottom because it's not as easy to get up out of the snow as it used to be. I also had Duke out there laying on top of me and then he walked around in it a little after I got up. You can still clearly see the head and wings though.

Two down four to go

I finished the second of my six projects this morning and delivered it to the girl at work. She seemed quite thrilled with them.
This is all I'm going to show you though.

Because Duke says he wants to do the presentation

Guys can wear pink too.

The design of this scarf is simple, nothing fancy but it's so thick and soft.

I bought some of the chunky weight yarn and put it together with a plain pink regular yarn. It may be a little on the heavy side but the thickness is awesome.
