First off I have to ask those of you who use firefox if you have seen the following message when you log on to blogger.
Your browser is no longer supported by Blogger. Some parts of Blogger will not work and you may experience problems.
If you are having problems, try Google Chrome.
What's up with that?
I don't know what problems they are talking about but so far I haven't noticed any. However, I decided to attempt to download Google Chrome. It downloaded ok but then that was it. I can not open it at all. It's there on my computer but when I click on it I get a big fat NOTHING.
Duke says I have been a bad blogger. He says that all blogging moms with furbabies should be posting said babies a minimum of once a week. He informs me that he has not seen himself on these pages in some time.
I promised him I would take care of that immediately.
He refused to give a happy face for the camera. I think he may be a little irritated with me. A few extra snacks should cure that.
Last Sunday I was on my way to a flea market and made a stop along the way to take some pictures. As I was strolling along I spotted these lilies. Aren't these gorgeous. I have one purple loving friend who stops by here who I know will love these.
Well that's it for today. I don't know what the plan is for the weekend or even if there is a plan. I just hope the day goes by quick and I can move in to day off mode.

More from the wedding
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July yesterday. It's back to work for me today.
I've got a few more pictures from the wedding we went to last weekend and then I'll move on to something else.
I give you Mr and Mrs Shawn Enders
One of the centerpieces on the tables.
The groom on the right and the bride's brother on the left.
Since I was randomly walking over and taking pictures I wasn't necessarily trying to set up any particular shots. I liked this one of the bride and her parents all looking off in the same direction. With the expressions on their faces it kind of looks like they might be thinking where is that boy. I imagine the father thinking If you upset my baby girl you are in big trouble mister.

Last but not least, is probably the most touching shot I got from the day. The look on the father's face as he dances with his daughter is priceless.

Happy 4th of July
Whether you're having a great big picnic or a relaxing day at home, I hope you all enjoy the day. Happy Independence day to all of my American friends. For those living outside of the U.S. I wish you a happy day filled with sunshine.

Going to the chapel
And we're gonna get married.
Well it wasn't actually a chapel it was more like the local park but we did go to a wedding on Saturday. The wedding was scheduled for 11:00 am and at 10 it was raining. This was supposed to be an outside wedding. Luck was with the bride and groom though and the skies cleared and made way for a beautiful day.
I wasn't asked to take pictures but you know me, I can't pass up an opportunity to snap some shots. They didn't have a professional photographer there so I felt perfectly comfortable standing next to the girl who was snapping away with her point and shoot. It was fun for me and the couple will get a few extra shots from their day.
I'm going to show you a few of my favorites today and then a few more on Thursday.
I started with the bow on the chairs while we were waiting for everything to begin. After all they had raindrops on them and I can't resist raindrops.
A close crop of the bride being escorted by her father. I was pleased that you could see the smile on her face through the veil.
During the ceremony
And of course the kiss. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a shot without the truck in the background. Across the street from the wedding there was a medieval joust going on and people were parked all along the road.
I took the above shot, cropped in close, copied part of the right hand side of the picture and pasted it on the left. Then I faded out the edges and lowered the saturation. Not great but at least there is no distracting truck in the background
Tomorrow I will hopefully have sometime appropriately red white and blue for the day and then Thursday it's more wedding.
