This isn't the most spectacular display of fall colors but it was the best I could do standing in my back yard.
Yesterday I took an unplanned break from the computer. There was a storm brewing while I was going through my reader and the more intense the thunder and lightning got the more I thought it would be a good idea to just turn the computer off and vegetate in front of the TV. Of course right about that time the TV thought it was a good time for the satellite to lose signal. That's when the brilliant idea of falling asleep early hit me.
Right now I have several different ideas rolling around in my head. I want to get started on all of them right now. I can't do all of them at once. So which do I do first? Being me, since I can't choose one, I do none. I swear by this weekend I will make a choice. I think I'm going to have a busy weekend though because I still want to do them all.
Those are about all the random boring thought I have for tonight.

You'll figure out what you want to do in due time. What's the rush? I liked your nap idea. You are a busy person and a nap with Duke now and then is a great idea.
Have a terrific day. :)
I keep a book on hand for those times--and its a good excuse to turn the computer off every now and then.
Books always lead right into a nap. THat's the best part!
It sure is a lovely fall colors. I couldn't help notice how beautiful your lawn is.
Storms scare me so I would never fall asleep during one...more likely I'd grab my iPod and ride out the storm hiding under a bunch of blankets on my bed.
I don't like to use the computer in storms either. So tell me does Satellite go out a lot - my hubby wants to get one and give up cable.

Taking a nap is always a good idea :) Sometimes we need the thunder to get us away from them puters.. *LOL*
fall is a great time for photography :D
I don't know if its the age thingy... i think i am sleeping much earlier now :p
Hi Ann, WE all need computer BREAKS ---and George and I went to the state park to walk early this evening. It was a gorgeous day -and the sun shining on that lake showing the reflections in the water was awesome... YES---let's get away from the computer more!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Sometimes just turning it all off is so good for us, I did that today, just read and walked where there was lots of colored leaves...awesome! ;D
Well, in a bad storm, you have to choose between watching the T.V., and it going out, or doing computing, and blowing it! Going to bed is the best idea. Now I can't wait to find out about your ideas!
I love photos like that - I feel like I could walk right into them...
Fall colors are just so wonderful aren't they? I see your reads popping up! Honestly, we have almost no green left here. Lots of yellow and brown. I will be surprised if we have any leaves left on the trees by the end of the week!!

I'm not ready for fall! I'm seeing red leaves falling on our deck every now and again and I'm wishing it was May again.
Can't wait to see what your projects are! I'm like you, if I can choose one, I do none. Now I should go make a bracelet and change that...
I think the colors are a great start of more to come.
When I can't decide what to do first, I write everything down on little pieces of paper and put them in a jar and choose one. Not an elaborate plan, but it works!
I wish I had those colors in my yard, so pretty.
Looking forward to seeing what you're up to. :)
Great blog you have here!!! I am your newest follower! My grand-dog looks just like Duke! I love stamping and scrapping and all that good stuff too. In NY we haven't had that many fall colors yet...can't believe it was 81 degrees! The weather has been very unusual this year! Have a great day!

You sound like me - overwhelmed by indecision! So many ideas ideas, so little time, and no idea where to start first.
Sleeping sounds like a good plan!
Great picture Ann. The thing that scares me over here is. I am starting to see a lot of leaves on the ground.Don't anyone say that four letter word S--W.
After all of the rain you-all have had, the fall colors should be nothing sort of spectacular up your way this year. We are in the middle here. For they have had a lot more than average rainfall to the east while the west has seen way less.
I think that is a good picture of the leaves turning.
Well looks like you are going to have to do it all since you don't know where to start. Just think how much you will get done. Good luck. Take care.
I love autumn! Beautiful time of year.
Silly thought, but if you're worried about the computer - and that's electrical, why wouldn't you be worried about the tv too?
I think an early night and Duke cuddles would be a great thing, whatever the weather :) xx
Yesterdays morning sun really brought out the colors and I was going to the doggie barber without a camer. Felt almost naked.
Not ready for our summer to end but alas it has and no stopping that Mr. Fall!
If all else fails, take that adorable helicopter out for another ride. i know you will decided, pick one you like the most and do it first and see how you feel. i am late because the new camera has now taken 4 hours this morning.
We aren't quite at the changing colour stage yet and I think with the recent bout of warm weather we can hold it off for just a little longer. Good luck with deciding which project you want to start first!!
Yes fall is here too. It is so pretty but I know winter is just around the corner and I really don't like that. I just finished a little craft project I'll have to blog about it. It was fun, fast and easy.
Our leaves are just turning and I do like the nap idea
Always looking forward to seeing your next ideas!
