There was UFO sighting here in my little town last night. It flew overhead for approximately 10 minutes before returning to wherever it came from.
I was lucky enough to have my camera handy so that I could document what I saw.
Well it is obvious that it's a helicopter so it's not really unidentifiable but still it kept flying over the yard
It actually landed several times in the back yard and Duke was going crazy. I was afraid for his safety.
It finally landed in the road and I approached it with caution. I could
see the pilot and I called out to him but there was no reply.
Finally Wade came over, scooped it up and took it in the house to put it back on it's charger. And so ends another adventure in small town America.

Wow, those shots had me fooled - I was sure it was a real one and was thinking you must have one huge backyard! The middle pic is especially gorgeous.
LOL, you definitely had me fooled there for a minute...especially as I did have a helicopter land in my neighbors yard...or rather the parking lot behind her yard.
We have a neighbor that flies an airplane. It's way cool and he's really good at it too.
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
My husband flies remote controlled planes too - so does Madsnappers!

MOL our Daddy has one of those too!!

You had me until the third pic. lol!
Beautiful sky!
We've had the real thing several times lately. Don't know why. What fun!
HA! It's so realistic looking!! Love it.
Oh, you have actual drivers in that thing? That's cool. Most times the cabin is empty in those little fliers--which is a bummer.
We used to do those estes rockets when we were kids. And then again with our kids. Does your husband ever shoot those off?
That's pretty cool! Our daddy doesn't have his own helicopter but he sure would like to!
Woos,
Sadie
Awesome photos! Fun post!
I so enjoyed this small town adventure!
So cool! I thought it was a real helicopter! Phil flies remote planes and gliders and belongs to the local flying club.
Looked like the real thing to me, Ann.... Awesome photos... I began to wonder when you said that it landed in your yard... ha ha
Glad it came home in ONE piece...
Hugs,
Betsy
You had me going there for a minute!
Very cool photos of the invaders. LOL!
These are loads of fun... mebbe Duke can help fly it on another day :)
What a cute post! My son Erik would love this. I'll show him when he comes home from school!
(You really fooled me, Ann!)
Best wishes & hugs,
Anna

Great pictures Ann. I thought it was real until you said it landed in the yard.
Now I am jealous. I have always wanted one. Ask Wade if I can come over and play.LOL
Alas, when some in Washington were talking about downsizing our military, they weren't kidding.
hahahaa , fab post - you made me laugh :) xx
LOL ~ it doesn't look like anyone is going for a ride on that wee thing!

I was sure it was the real one in the first picture. My sons had the indoor one not as nice as Wade ones.
I can only imagine Duke's reaction to the helicopter. It can double as a dog toy.
even though I live with a remote control addict, I thought the first two shots were for real, until you said it landed in the back yard. I LOVE that second shot with the pink sky and it looks so real, i kept looking for men to drop out of it on those long ropes like they do in the action movies. i know Duke was excited. once hubby put a remote control boat in our pool, and our dog Max went crazy, then he got a remote control truck and Max chased it till his tongue hung out. the truck got traded to our pastors 7 year old son, he got a remote control plane for Christmas and could not fly it, so hubby traded him the truck for the plane and they were both happy
Wait until he finds there is glow in the dark paint he could add to it.
just showed this post to my RC flyer and he loved it as much as i did
I really thought it was real in your sky pictures. Funny. My boys each had received one of these for Christmas a couple of years ago. They have had a lot of fun with them.
