Not really breaking the rule

This post was originally scheduled for Wednesday the 26th but due to a glitch it never went live. Now the title is pretty much off but at least I have a post for today.

I have a big rule about not pulling out Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving but it's different when I'm making them then the rule is slightly altered.

With that being said I actually did a wee craft the other day. It actually took me a couple days since I don't get much time to sit and work on things.

I cut and rolled all the paper pieces the one day.

The next day I put it all together.

A little bit of paper, a wood craft stick and a little star and you've got yourself a tree. The only thing I forgot to do was drill a hole to put a string through for hanging.

Cute...and colorful!!! I think they'd look festive and give houseplant pottery a touch of holiday spirit.

I had someone give me a small glass tree that lights and swirls so I am decorated here. I found a box of cardboard rolls the other day and tossed them, not knowing why they were being saved.

I thought it was going to be a biggish thing but it turns out to be a tiny thing - whatever size, it is MARVELOUS. I like it!

That turned out so cute! Love it! Can you hot glue a loop of string on the stick in back so you can hang it?

Love this Ann! Wouldn't these be neat to make with remnants of each year's gift wrap. A memory for year's to come!
Thanks for popping that thought in my head!! :)

Love your project, the most fun about this is that you finally have a reason for saving all those scraps, lol.
Hugs,
Antonella

P.S. This is a bit scary, I did the same project for my 12 days posts (I just haven't posted it yet).... I was saving it for closer to Christmas for that "last minute" idea...
