What is sarcasm
Update on our internet issues. Wade talked to dish yesterday again. This time he spoke with someone who spoke fluent english and was easy to understand. He was told that so long as we have our network passworded there is no way that anyone could be skimming data but that there was definitely something that was draining it. He suggested turning off our modem when we weren't on the computer. He also gave us 3 gigs free to hold us over until the first of next month. The guy he talked to the other day sold him 2 gigs for $20 which were drained within a day. I really hate technology sometimes. I don't understand it enough to know what's going on and it's very frustrating. Oh well, I know how to make index cards though :)

I was horrified to find that someone hacked my account and sent out a bunch of comments in my name. I hope you did not take seriously the comments left on your last two posts before this one.
I'm with you here Anne. Sometimes I just want to throw the whole lot out of the window. I think of the time I waste doodling about on the computer and the times I have steam coming out of my ears when it goes wrong.
I wish there was a series on tv that taught you the inside out of computers and was easy to understand, but then the tech's wouldn't make any money would they.
As for the foreign people on the phone, how frustrating it that?
I usually hang up and try a different time of day in the hopes that I can get someone who I can understand.
good luck with getting it all sorted.

Think of how technology has progressed. It keeps progressively pestering us worse when it doesn't work well.
I love sarcasm when it is done as jokes, like stand up comedy. the card today is why Sheldon is so funny on Big Bang Theory... he doesn't get it. and he is a genius..
forgot...call that cable guy... free advice from me...
I had trouble getting a comment form to open on a couple of blogs this morning...first thing I thought of was YOU...well, you're not a 'thing' so let me rephrase that...'the first PERSON I thought of was you. I actually had to right click the comment link to open in a new window...that worked. For now.
Technology sucks.
If I'm understanding correctly, you have to 'buy' gigabytes? Well then, I'd suggest you look into CABLE....mine is unlimited for $50 a month. I can have the computer on 24/7 365 days a year. Seriously, it's time to do some shopping for CABLE.
Ah, that was it - draining, not leeching. I didn't get the term right. Someone I know had this problem and it is the company's fault, again don't remember why and how. Cable is so much better. And you never have to worry about rain, clouds, wind, snow...
Ugh. I'd go with cable too. although that has its own issues.
I hope things are better now.
I love all your index cards. You and I are so much alike.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Sorry you're having issues! It's nice to take a break once in a while though. Heehee love your card - as always!
Draining huh? Hmmmm. Sounds like they don't know what's going on. That happened to my dad too although he's on cable and he changed his password and it stopped. People can get in since there's a lot of not so nice peeps out there. Anyway, I go with the others, cable is better although I hate paying the bill every month. *sigh*
Tech issues are the worst. I feel for you, Ann :-/
Tech can be a real PAIN Ann!! I hope you can get it straightened out!! I am in total agreement with HootinAnni! Good luck! I love your index cards!! Happy Monday!
Ummm,no,that's not correct, the only thing that could be 'draining'your data is someone who has has hacked into your account and is streaming movies constantly on your dime! Time to call them back and speak to a supervisor and change your password ASAP. No way you can go through 2 gigs in that short a time. Sorry for the problems Ann:O( Love the index card though! Deb xo
Loving the index card Ann...I would like that on a t-shirt!!! Hope you get your internet sorted soon.
That is so odd, Ann...just plain odd....:)JP
