What a treat when I got home and opened the box. Well a treat but not for me and not just one.
Inside were 4 packages of Vera premium dog treats. There were the two flavors you see in the picture and also chicken fillets and sausage links.
Gibbs has only tried the chicken fillets so far and he absolutely loves them.
After opening the box I did recall winning these a while back but I don't remember from where. I'm thinking it may have been on Jean's blog bichonpawz If I'm wrong about that please feel free to correct me. Gibbs says these are a suitable substitute for the cheezits. Oh and by the way, he did not eat those. He has this crazy fascination with paper/cardboard and he loves to tear it to shreds. I admit that allowing him to do so is not teaching him proper behavior but sometimes you just gotta bend the rules and have some fun

That was a sweet surprise and I'm sure Gibbs is happy about it. As for the cardboard boxes . . . well, we all do tend to spoil our pups :)

It's a sad day when the dog gets a surprise package and you don't. Bummer. But a WIN for Gibbs!!
What a lovely surprise for Gibbs. I think it is perfectly acceptable behaviour for a dog to 'frag' paper and card...it's one of Trojans favourite pastimes!!

Gibbs is one lucky dog! Fed-ex and everything...It's funny, but my cat Simon also likes to destroy boxes. I think it helps him vent, especially when he doesn't get his way. It sounds like Gibbs destroys them out of pure joy.
